At TrichoSynergy London we specialise in treating black women with relaxed hair who are wanting to grow their hair out and have their natural Afro hair. My method does not require you to cut all of your hair off. It allows the hair to grow without that 'weak point' where the relaxed hair and natural hair meet. I promote having a healthy scalp and stimulating new hair regrowth. You will be treating your hair at home and this method allows for a freer and simplified shampoo and go - who has hours to spend on their hair? This is a stress free 'taking care of me' routine which leaves the hair soft, bouncy, moisturised, nourished and strong.
At TrichoSynergy, I will treat your scalp (where appropriate, if scalp burns or lesions are present). Your hair will be assessed and restructured, re-hydrated and reconditioned with a course of treatments lasting a number of weeks, dependent upon the severity of the damage presented. You will be given advice to care for your hair and scalp at home to maintain the progress your hair should be making.
You will never look back.
I see many women with sister locks and locked hair who have experienced matting. The matted hair has caused hair loss and scalp issues. I will treat any scalp issues you have before dealing with the locks. I design a manageable programme for each individual to maintain their hair to suit their needs at home. This ensures that your hair is the best quality it can be - always.
African (Textured) type hair (afro hair) is very fragile, it knots and tangles easily especially in climates, such as the UK's lacking humidity. TrichoSynergy Consultant Trichologist Victoria Elliott is a is black hair and scalp specialist.
Afro textured hair responds wonderfully to electrotherapy the treatments I give at TrichoSynergy. The treatments usually consist of three light therapies and one phototherapy - the sessions last for 45 minutes. Treatments are given in a course of 6, which are best when taken either weekly or bi-weekly. These light therapies work by encouraging cell division, stimulating the blood flow to the hair bulb, removing toxins from the scalp and calming inflammation. Mesotherapy is also available for those who are suitable candidates and the scalp is nourished by the solutions applied and the wound healing factors which enter the channels made by the tool.
